Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is a relationship based on trust in which you receive support around your spiritual life.  It allows you to explore the ways in which you make meaning.  It is focused on enhancing the relationship you have with the Divine, through prayer and life experiences.  It is based on the assumption that you want to or do feel a sense of connection with the Divine and have a willingness to practice prayer (conversation with God) and are committed to making time for this in your life.

Spiritual Direction can involve creativity, practicality, spaciousness and presence.

Commonly, Spiritual Direction is undertaken at a regular frequency of approximately monthly.  It is helpful to be committed to a year at a time.
