Biography
I am a qualified counsellor and spiritual director with experience in
supporting people through:

spiritual and life distress,

addiction

Sexual and religious trauma

physical and intellectual impairments,

mental illness,

Chronic health conditions

pregnancy and lactation complications and
-
progressive health conditions.
I enjoy offering support to people coming from a range of cultural backgrounds.
My professional background includes, addiction counselling in prison, health and disability advocacy with people of all ages and Ethics administration in a counselling professional body and offering counselling and spiritual direction in private practice.
My earlier work experience includes hospitality, disability support work, and counselling in community agencies.
I am a Spiritual Director trained in the Ignatian tradition and offer this to people with religious and non-religious spirituality.
In my personal life, spirituality, creativity and intimacy are my key cornerstones.
Family is very important to me. I am married to my partner as part of an inter-abled team. We have 2 children. I am committed to being Tangata Tiriti supporting Māori rangatiritanga and healing from the effects of colonisation in Aotearoa.
