Biography

I am a qualified counsellor with experience in supporting people with
-
spiritual and life distress,
-
physical and intellectual impairments,
-
mental illness,
-
pregnancy and lactation complications and
-
progressive health conditions.
​
I like to offer support to people coming from a range of cultural backgrounds.
​
My professional background includes, addiction counselling in prison, health and disability advocacy with people of all ages and Ethics administration in a counselling professional body and offering counselling and spiritual direction in private practice.
My earlier work experience includes hospitality, disability support work, and counselling in community agencies.
I am a Spiritual Director trained in the Ignatian tradition and offer this to people with religious and non-religious spirituality.
In my personal life, spirituality, creativity and intimacy are the key cornerstones of my life.
Family is very important to me. I am married to my partner as part of an inter-abled team. Our first child was born in September 2020 and our second is due in January 2023.
